A creative facilitator, copywriter and trainer, Jonathan's forte is brainstorming,
using a co-creative process that gives rise to lasting 'aha's' and enables people
to see their business or their story through new eyes. He also leads various training
and creative workshops.
Since 1991, he has worked for himself in London, Sydney, Auckland, Tampa & Cape
Cod. He has steered creative projects for clients from Accenture and Abbey National
to UNICEF. He has experience across virtually all media. A 'right-brained' writer,
he knows how to communicate visually.
He is an active facilitator & facilitator trainer of the 'Be The Change' symposium
- a one-day workshop for groups from 5 to 500, designed to help change the prevailing
cultural story of our time. To date he has led symposiums: on a Tall Ship in Sweden;
at the AIN Improvisers conference in Chicago; in Totnes in tandem with the makers
of The Age of Stupid; at the Greenbelt festival; and in Sancreed using Gabrielle
Roth's Five Rhythms.
He has also been involved in three international summer camps for young people from
the UK, Sweden, Australia and USA - taking on key roles at each. More recently he
has focused on working with non-profit organisations, and exceptional small businesses
- to bring to life stories worth telling.
"What I love about Right from the Start is the way it makes the most vital knowledge
so accessible and inspiring. Its start point is how to make a difference where it
is most needed.
If we could point to a single place where we could make the biggest difference to
our families, our communities and our society ... it is here.
Of course, we need to get our way of seeing ourselves and our world - and with it,
our way of being with each other - Right from the Start.
If not, then when?"
